The loom was set up to do a large work with no pre-conceived plan or design. After a night of wandering about Pittsburgh with friends, we found ourselves on top of the golf course, standing in a light drizzle, watching the dense clouds slowly lighten in the dawn. The vision for the piece was there before me. The same moment of inspiration led, decades later, to an hour long sound composition by the same name.
